Lithium Silicate Solution (Industrial grade)

Description
Lithium silicate solution is a high-performance inorganic chemical used across construction, energy, and advanced materials industries. It features strong adhesion, deep substrate penetration, and excellent durability, making it ideal for concrete densification, surface hardening, and dust-proof treatments in industrial and commercial flooring. Compared with sodium and potassium silicates, lithium silicate offers greater chemical stability, reduced whitening, and longer service life. It is also widely applied in ceramics, glass, anti-corrosion coatings, and lithium-ion battery components to enhance mechanical strength and thermal stability. Its versatility and reliable performance make lithium silicate solution a preferred material for high-tech and industrial applications.

Hazards Not Otherwise Classified (HNOC):

    •    Environmental Hazards: This product is not classified as an environmental hazard, but care should be taken to avoid large quantities entering water systems, as it could potentially increase the alkalinity of water, harming aquatic life.

First Aid Measures:

    •    Inhalation: Move the affected person to fresh air immediately. If breathing is difficult, seek medical attention.
    •    Skin Contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Rinse the skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation or burns persist.
    •    Eye Contact: Rinse eyes immediately with water for at least 15 minutes, lifting the eyelids occasionally. Seek medical attention immediately.
    •    Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately if symptoms develop.

Storage and Handling:

  • Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat, sparks, and ignition sources.
  • Keep away from incompatible materials, such as acids, oxidizing agents, and flammable substances.
  • Use personal protective equipment, including gloves, goggles, and respiratory protection, when handling lithium silicate solutions.
  • Ensure proper ventilation to avoid exposure to vapors or aerosols.
  • Avoid contact with water, as lithium silicate can react with water to produce heat and potentially hazardous by-products.

Disposal:

  • Dispose of lithium silicate solutions according to local regulations and ensure proper waste management practices to prevent environmental contamination.
  • Do not dispose of in water bodies or areas where it can enter the environment.
  • Neutralize or treat the solution before disposal to minimize hazards.
